So, what's it all about?
It's
easy. It's a quiz that takes place in a pub.People play in teams against everyone else. They do
it in Canada and in England, so when a Canadian (Ross) and an Englishman (Tim) open a pub together, what do they do?
You got it! And now for the rules...
The Basics
- Cost of entry is €1 per team member up to four members of the team. Each
additional member after the fourth person will be charged €1.50. A person is considered to be a team member if they are
sitting at the table with other players.
- All money collected is put into the ‘pot’. 1st, 2nd
and 3rd place teams divide the winnings between them after 25% has been put into the Accumulator.
- The use
of mobile phones for outgoing calls, SMS or MMS messages is strictly forbidden during the quiz. Usage can lead to confiscation
of said phone for the duration of the evening
- Each question is read twice. Don’t ask for it to be repeated
during the round as there will be an opportunity between rounds to hear questions again.
- The quizmaster is always
right.

- Das
Quiz kostet €1 pro Person für die ersten vier Team Mitglieder. Wenn mehr als vier in einem Team spielen wollen,
dann zahlen die zusätzlichen Mitglieder jeweils €1,50. Wenn man am gleichen Tisch sitzt, wird man als Mitglied eines
Teams angesehen.
- Das entnommene Geld nennt man ‚Pot’ und wird zwischen dem erst-
und zweit- und drittplatzierten Teams aufgeteilt, sowohl als auch 25% in das ‚Accumulator‘.
- Während des Spiels ist das Benutzen von Handys strengsten verboten!
- Jede Frage
wird zwei Mal auf Englisch gestellt. Nach jeder abgeschlossenen Runde besteht die Möglichkeit den Quizmaster Frage zu
stellen oder um Übersetzungen zu bitten.
- Der Quizmaster hat immer Recht.
